Iceland is a unique place not flooded by hundreds of tourists yet. Its beauty and wild nature combine perfectly with friendly service in hostels and farmhouses no matter how far you live from a city. Surprisingly, people in this cold country are very warm and good-natured. I guess this is what has made our trip incredibly pleasant.
As to the places we've seen, I was particularly impressed by the Detifoss waterfall and by the Krafla caldera. Both look magnificent. I guess if it wasn't for the strong cold wind I would admire them for hours.
Iceland is an amazing country. You never know what you will see in the following minutes: there may be a rainbow between two mountains, or sheep sleeping under the rain, or a majestic waterfall. One moment you look at the ocean with acute fascination and at the next moment you pet horses with tenderness. All that make you feel like a child in a fairy tale and you start to believe in elves and trolls.
There are no words to describe sublime beauty of this country. I believe that if you decide to visit this country, you will enjoy it.
I liked many things:

Icelandic landscapes and sharp turns, - a bit scary sometimes, but fun;

Funny animals like those dull sheep, horses running along the road, and the dog which chased our car;

The valley where we rented a house with a hot tube;

The lamb was yummy!

And also how we swam in the Myvatn Nature Bath and talked with the American guys, who we persuaded to jump into the cold water;

The might of the Dettifoss waterfall;
-
Blacksand beaches;
-
The way to Seydisfjordur and how guys suddenly got high with no reason and started to talk about rainbows and unicorns J And people in the bat there;
-
How we tried to cross a river and ended up chasing a deer; that was a whole adventure;

And the bar in Reykjavik!
The best moment was when we were crossing the mountains and started to laugh as if we were high. Also it was cool to swim in the Atlantic, drink with locals in a bar in that small town, to drive on gravel and of course sitting in a hot tube with three girls ;)
